How to use Find duplicate photos
- Choose or drop your photos (a whole folder works).
- Pick how strict to be, then select Find duplicates.
- Check the groups, tick what to keep, and save the list of extras or a clean copy.
Questions
How does it know two photos are the same?
It makes a tiny fingerprint of how each picture looks, so a resized or recompressed copy still matches. Identical files always match.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, and the page is blocked from sending data anywhere. You can check by turning off your internet connection: it keeps working.
