Questions
How do I scan a QR code that’s on my screen?
Take a screenshot and paste it here, or save the image and drop it in. You don’t need a second phone.
Is it safe to open the link?
Scanning is safe: nothing opens until you choose to. Check the address shown first. Scam codes on parking meters and in emails often lead to a page that only looks like a bank or a parking app.
Can it show a Wi-Fi password from a QR code?
Yes. Wi-Fi codes show the network name, password and security type, ready to copy.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, and the page is blocked from sending data anywhere. You can check by turning off your internet connection: it keeps working.
